Reblogged this on DeborahBidwell's Blog and commented: sounds like when we got new "smart phones" and hubby didnt couldn't get the phone to work, gave it to me to fix, then his phone got too close to my phone and they sync'd. So he now has his original problem then I had it too but he had all my music (of which he doesn't listen to half of it) oooo that was a fun weekend, took both phones to the store and now have them back and back to factory defaults. now if he needs something done on the phone he makes sure it is FAR away from my phone to prevent another sync.

I teach customer service classes frequently, and one of the ideas I always leave my students is to do that little bit more for their customers…which generally goes a long way in terms of customer perception and loyalty. Going the extra mile or giving lagniappe (or “a little something extra” as we say down here in Louisiana) will pay off in dividends for business who adopts that philosophy.

this is so true, Doug!! I have been doing recruiting a long time and, 1. most of today’s candidates do not have the WORK ETHIC that WE have and, 2. a lot of these candidates are just another warm body and are not productive, nor do they take pride in the work that they do. Thanks for this posting… it hit home to me!

Dont get me started on Apple. I had to get an iPhone 5 for work to learn how to use the phone for support and while smooth and fluid, there are just some things I do not like. Thats even taking out Apple’s “we will let you use your device how we want you to” attitude. I guess if you are deep into their ecosystem you may not care how they treat you and what options they decide to let you have.
